Equinix opened CN1, its first IBX AI-ready data center in Chennai on 2025-09-19 with an initial US$69 million investment, offering 800 cabinets in phase one and 4,250 cabinets at full build. The Ministry of the Interior announced a three-pronged housing policy package—old-house lifespan extension and expanded autonomous urban renewal, virtual floor area reform, and a near-zero carbon building flagship plan—presented at a Taichung forum on 2025-09-18.
